Nés dans les ruelles de Montréal, en 2010, les Jazz Street Boyz vont à l'essentiel, le blues et la fête.
Composés de Jérôme Dupuis-Cloutier à la trompette et piano et de Dominic Desjardins au banjo, à la guitare ténor et au vocal. Les Jazz Street Boyz vous font vivre un moment inoubliable à coup sûr, leur musique comme leurs performances étant teintées de spontanéité et de solos endiablés. Une chimie hors du commun se dégage de leurs spectacles uniques accompagnés de musiciens invités d'exception en quartet ou trio. Leur spectacle est un mélange de compositions originales aux saveurs old school jazz et blues mixées à un répertoire d'arrangements originaux de jazz traditionnel. C'est un spectacle très énergique et accessible qui en même temps propose un jazz original et minutieux de ses arrangements.
Les Jazz Street Boyz ont sorti un premier album en 2013 (Jazz Street Boyz + invités) qui les a fait jouer dans plusieurs festivals (Festival International de Jazz de Montréal 2014-2015-2017 dont la première partie du Preservation Hall Jazz band au théâtre Maisonneuve, FestiVoix 2015, Festival International de jazz de Rimouski 2018-2022, etc).
Leur deuxième album live, Jazz en stock, sorti en février 2019, a été enregistré devant un public au studio Madame Wood à Montréal. Il est un mélange de compositions tirés du spectacle du groupe. Dans la section Musique/vidéos on peut voir et écouter les prestations du groupe.
Un troisième album (JSB3) est paru en avril 2022. Il a été enregistré au Studio du Chemin 4 entre l'automne 2020 et l'hiver 2021 et sera un album de compositions originales de blues et de jazz. L'album a d'ailleurs gagné le Lucien de l'album jazz de l'année au GAMIQ 2022.

Jazz Street Boyz:
Born in the alleys of Montreal in 2010, the Jazz Street Boyz go straight to the point, the blues and the party.
Composed by Jérôme Dupuis-Cloutier on trumpet and piano and Dominic Desjardins on banjo, tenor guitar and vocals. The Jazz Street Boyz make you live an unforgettable moment for sure, their music like their performances being tinged with spontaneity and frenzied solos. An extraordinary chemistry emerges from their unique shows accompanied by exceptional guest musicians in quartet or trio. Their show is a mix of original compositions with old school jazz and blues flavors mixed with a repertoire of original traditional jazz arrangements. It is a very energetic and accessible show which at the same time offers an original and meticulous jazz of its arrangements.
The Jazz Street Boyz released their first album in 2013 (Jazz Street Boyz + guests) which saw them play in several festivals (Festival International de Jazz de Montréal 2014-2015-2017 including the first part of the Preservation Hall Jazz band 's show at the Maisonneuve theater, FestiVoix 2015, Rimouski International Jazz Festival 2018, etc).
Their second live album, Jazz en stock, released in February 2019, was recorded in front of an audience at Madame Wood studio in Montreal. It is a mix of compositions taken from the band's show. In the Music/videos section you can see and listen to the band's performances.
A third album (JSB3) was released in April 2022. It was recorded at Studio du Chemin 4 between fall 2020 and winter 2021 and will be an album of original blues and jazz compositions. The album also won the Lucien for jazz album of the year at GAMIQ 2022.
